Since 2018, Beach 5’s Australia has been captivating Aussies with its unique brand of sporting fun, high levels of skill, speed, fitness and competitiveness on beaches all over the Land Down Under!
This incredible summer sport for women, men and younger competitors has been played on some of the most iconic beaches in Australia and also in New Zealand.
Now, in a unique world first, Beach 5’s Australia proudly announces a joint venture partnership with Australia’s NRL.
The new venture and entity is called NRL Beach Tackle and combines our love of the beach, and the iconic sport of Rugby League.
NRL Beach Tackle is where Skills and Excitement collide at speed.
It’s rugby league but not as you know it. Beach Tackle is 5 a side, 5 tackles and 5 minutes each way. With no kicking and no scrums, Beach Tackle is full contact, fast paced, full on footy!

NRL Beach Tackle Wollongong 5s Team Categories and Entry Fees:
- OPEN MENS – $550 per team
- OPEN WOMENS – $550 per team
- UNDER 14 BOYS/GIRLS – $295
- UNDER 16 BOYS/GIRLS – $295
- UNDER 18 BOYS/GIRLS – $295
*Full refunds will be provided should there be any reason that this event may not be able to run, or postponed. The event organiser reserves the right to amalgamate divisions, within safety regulations, as entries or cancellations dictate
