Beach Rugby Australia follows all updated and relevant federal and state health regulations in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has a COVID Safe Event Plan in place.

PLAYER / SUPPORTERS / SPECTATORS / VOLUNTEERS

No-one can attend our Event if:

• You have been unwell or have COVID-19;
• You have been in close contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19, travelled overseas or to a declared hotspot in the previous 14 days;
• You are a high health risk.

If a player / supporter / spectator / volunteer has COVID-19 symptoms, or has been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, you must:

• Self-isolate and get tested – do not attend our event
• Advise your Team Manager you are getting tested, and the result of the test
• Follow medical advice

What you must do when you attend our Event

PLAYERS

• Players:  fill out the Player Registration Form, which will be used for both team management and contact tracing as required for COVID-19;
• Download and activate the COVID Safe App;
• Maintain social distancing (1.5m), and square metre rules in designated areas;
• Obey all instructions from Event Staff & Security to maintain your and others safety.  We reserve the right to eject anyone from the event who does not follow our directions;
• Players: avoid congregating before or after games;
• Players: maintain strict hygiene practices (i.e., sanitise hands regularly, don’t share equipment or water bottles);
• Regularly use hand sanitiser which will be located throughout the event arena.

ALL OTHERS

• Fill out the COVID Registration at the event to enable contact tracing;
• Download and activate the COVID Safe App;
• Maintain social distancing (1.5m), and square metre rules in designated areas;
• Licensed area: do not congregate at the bar – the bar is for serving only.  Remain seated following social distancing;
• Obey all instructions from Event Staff & Security to maintain your and others safety.  We reserve the right to eject anyone from the event who does not follow our directions;
• Regularly use hand sanitiser which will be located throughout the event arena;
• Bring towels to sit on and shade to help us enable social distancing.

We strongly encourage the use of electronic transactions when paying for items in the licensed area or the BBQ to minimise contact.
